What We Do

Lunchbox Theatre, founded in 2007, is a non-profit organization that harnesses the transformative power of theatre to educate, entertain, and empower South African communities. Based on the Garden Route, we perform educational shows and provide drama workshops for schools and underprivileged youth. With a focus on issues like environmental awareness and social justice, we create meaningful opportunities for learning, skill-building, and cultural enrichment. Having reached over 200,000 learners through more than 1,000 performances, our programs inspire South Africa’s youth and educators while fostering growth in the arts sector. Lunchbox Theatre is proud to make a lasting impact by bringing life-changing theatre to those who need it most.

Vision

Using professional and accessible theatre performances and training workshops, Lunchbox Theatre educates, entertains, and empowers South African youth and educators, fostering awareness of environmental and social issues while developing essential life skills.
