What We Do

The Knysna Alcohol and Drug Centre (KADC) has been a beacon of hope in the Greater Knysna and Bitou Municipal Area. For almost 30 years, we’ve been combatting the devastating impact of substance abuse, providing lifesaving services like prevention and awareness programs, early intervention, and aftercare services to the communities in the Greater Knysna and Bitou Municipal Area. Our mission is to create substance abuse-free communities, where individuals regain their dignity, freedom, and the ability to contribute positively to society. KADC prides itself with guiding principles that became the PILLARS upon which this organisation is built and to restore the FREEDOM, DIGNITY and HONOUR of our service users and their families within our society.
