What We Do

SOUL FOOD is the primary project of the Soul Provider Trust and its purpose is simply to feed the starving – with particular focus on students and school children.

Experience has revealed that it is almost impossible for young adults and children to learn anything or engage in extra-curricular activities like sport when they are desperately hungry.

Vision
The role of Soul Food Emergency Relief Centre (ERC) is to provide immediate, short-term assistance to individuals and communities facing crisis or disaster situations such as fires, floods, storms, or community-wide issues.
Mission
Soul Food Africa – Mission Statement Soul Food Africa, under the Soul Provider Trust, is a South African non-profit committed to providing nutritious meals to preschool and primary school children. By nourishing young minds, we help unlock their learning potential and build stronger, more resilient communities.
Soul Food’s Emergency Resource Centre (ERC) in Plettenberg Bay supports this mission by serving as a vital hub for emergency food relief, crisis response, and restoring dignity to children, leaners and families in need.
Together, we plant seeds of hope — one child, one meal, one community at a time.
