Youth for Change is a Non-Profit Organisation registered with Department Social Development’s NPO Directorate. We are providing environmental, agricultural, youth development programs for school and out of school youth in the Plettenberg Bay area.
1. Volunteer Support
Many of the programs and projects (like clean-up campaigns, food gardening, and skills development workshops) rely on “able bodies/volunteers”. This indicates that volunteers are a key part of the organization’s activities.
2. Partner or Collaborate
Youth For Change has worked in collaboration with entities like Cape Access for CV writing workshops. If you’re an organization, institution, or individual with resources or skills, partnering to run joint programs is a great way to contribute.
3. Donate or Sponsor
Several planned activities in their year plan were postponed due to lack of funds, such as the Beautician Training Programme and Driver’s License initiative. Financial or in-kind donations (e.g. equipment, materials) would help bring these programs to life.
4. Join Future Projects
The organization lists upcoming projects like mentoring, agriculture programs, skills development, leadership programs, and awareness campaigns. People with expertise or passion in these areas could assist.
